You just have to be committed, consistent, and have a flare for the dramatic.
  • Use StumbleUpon it is easy to setup an account and stumble upon sites you like. Ask your friends to stumble your sites and you can even stumble your own likes.
  • If you have a product site or an eCommerce store you should use Pinterest to showcase your products and provide a link back into your store. Make sure you pin only those photos on your own site.
  • Tweet and Post every new article on your Twitter and Facebook.
  • Setup a Disqus commenting account, and attach it to your own blog. Then use this account to comment on other blogs with good relevant comments and it will provide a link back to your site. With a good comment people will naturally want to visit your site.

  • Post and be active on Reddit, there is a lot of information and good social juice you can get from Reddit so be active there or at the very least know about it and visit it.
  • This is about your business and your site, so if you have a lot of family and friends or just a handful, ask them to share your site with others.
  • Setup a Facebook group or Google community where people can engage with your company ask questions and learn from others.
  • Make sure you understand the ever changing landscape of Facebook and make sure your page is unique, up to date, and on target for your brand.
  • Setup a social media contest, ask users to guess an answer to a question for an entry into a drawing, have a caption contest, or a simple giveaway. People love free stuff, just make sure they like your page and send them to a place on your site to signup.
